IBBworks is more than a name. It reflects a belief in the value of interest-based bargaining and serves as an online space for IBB materials, facilitator resources, practical ideas, and conversation about bargaining, listening, problem-solving, and collaboration.

The idea for this website and its accompanying Substack grew out of IBB Facilitator Training held July 14–15, 2026. Special thanks to Grat Dalton, Shane Peters, and Kelly Bohl for leading the training and for inspiring the idea of creating an online place to build community, share resources, and strengthen momentum around IBB.

    The Lunch Date

    The Lunch Date is a famous 1989 black-and-white short drama film written and directed by Adam Davidson. It won an Academy Award and the Palme d’Or for Best Short Film, telling the story of a woman in a train station who makes an awkward assumption about a man sharing her table.
